The philosophy and science of CURA are crucial at this time in history. Having worked in health care for decades, when I heard about this initiative I felt hope and relief. While much mystery remains, there have been big strides forward in science as different areas demonstrate the efficacy of what those walking the land have long known - health is life in harmony with itself.

I see this lack of congruity every day in the patients I work with because it has been lost in many areas of our culture, yet I am beginning to see change in the cultural landscape. Age is a way of being, YES!!

I am very excited, and thankful, you are bringing this work to the forefront Renee💕

To you lovely souls in Renee's community I encourage you to check out CURAlive. I am using it, and in a very short time have been amazed at the change in my skin! This is a tough thing to achieve because the water in my community is a terrible skin wrecker so I was very pleasantly surprised. More like amazed and excited! It is a wonderful product I will be using for a long time to come.

Donna,

Thank you for sharing your reflections here on health care and age, and for your excitement and enthusiasm! I imagine you do see a disharmony daily in your clientele. It's in all of us. When we shine a soft light on our inner landscape and endeavor toward harmony within, we take the first step toward health. The endeavor toward health becomes a gateway to becoming fully human, an unfolding we were born for. But there's a hitch. Those of us in the privileged West who have privilege have the most responsibility to endeavor toward health. That this is so unsettles our self-focus about 'my health'. 'My health' changes to 'our health' when health is about human becoming.

Thank you also--very much--for sharing about your experience with CURAlive. The magic is in the aliveness and how the plants "dialogue" with the cells of the skin. I see my job simply as bringing them together. . . .

Warmest,

Renée

My favorite is the third picture. The reflection of the clouds made me think at first glance that the land was floating in the sky.

I agree! The wispy roundness of the clouds, both in the sky and the reflection, is stunning.

Liz,

Isn't it amazing for a moment to capture us so?! I arrived at the shores of this lake and gasped out loud.

How are your travels?

Warmest,

Renée

David,

Thank you for this! It does look like the land is floating.

Everything turns on its head in a horizontal mirror!

There is profound and subliminal beauty touching each and every one of your photographs Renée. These are places I would never see, or touch the silence of were it not for wildlings like yourself and a few courageous others... Thank you for your extraordinary wanderings.

Susie,

I am so drawn to your words, especially, subliminal. Something reaches through space and time to touch us from these images, which, for me, seem to come to the camera lens (only) if I become present to what is before me. That something is what's conveyed. And it delights me beyond reason to read that we wildlings are bringing you to the wild in our wanderings.

Thank you for sharing this.

Gorgeous photos! I want to crawl inside and live in them. I'm particularly drawn to the boulder in the foreground of the second picture. It feels like she's an old friend posing for the camera and she's delighted to be showing all of us this amazing place where she lives.

Jenna,

"I want to crawl inside and live in them." Then their aliveness comes through.

I am enchanted that the boulder image speaks to you--an old friend showing us this amazing place where she lives. It takes a special kind of seeing to see in this way. Thank you!

Warmest,

Renée

I am lost in the wilderness of these pictures Renee (in a good way!) This landscape decides to have a laugh with us, we take ourselves so seriously. The mountains offer us a rollercoaster of undulation. The lakes and the glaciers play with our perception. Which way up is the world? Where do you see yourself reflected? Is the image distorted? Do you see yourself there or wait a minute there? A hall of mirrors. Through all of the darkness in the world there is light, there is an invitation to play and there is golden opportunity to be a part of this landscape wrapped in a blanket of oneness. 🙏💫

Dear Louise,

"a rollercoaster of undulation." We could learn a lot from these mountains, and the lakes and glaciers, playing with our perception: "Which way up is the world?" What better question could be asked? Your questions are beautiful, Louise. I am enchanted with your playfulness with these images. Utterly enchanted. "wrapped in a blanket of oneness," your phrases so enfolded in the landscape itself. Thank you. 🙏

Warmest,

Renée

Omygoodness. We’re we separated at birth? Not only do my bones resonate with “health is not the absence of disease” (and you already know this) but did you also know iI’m making my own skincare from homegrown calendula and just did a soft launch of the products late summer?! I’m excited to try yours.💕

Kimberly,

I wish you could see the smile on my face! Perhaps we were separated at birth!!

And yes, I do know that "health is not the absence of disease" resonates in your bones and love that we connected on this! But I could not have imagined that you were working with calendula--homegrown at that!--and calling on it for skincare! I'll email you.

(how many exclamation marks can Renée use in a comment?!)

Warmest,

Renée
