Dear Friends,
In keeping with the rhythm we started in early 2024 beginning each month with a short reflection, I offer you a poem by Lucille Clifton today. May these sentiments be a blessing for the New Year. . . .
With love to you this day and every day,
Renée
blessing the boats
(at St. Mary’s)
may the tide
that is entering even now
the lip of our understanding
carry you out
beyond the face of fear
may you kiss
the wind then turn from it
certain that it will
love your back may you
open your eyes to water
water waving forever
and may you in your innocence
sail through this to that.

This Sunday: Gathering in Silence + Conversation – What do you wish to explore in 2025?
Since April 2024, I have been hosting a monthly gathering in Silence followed by reflective conversation.
For this first gathering of the year, let us pause in Silence with one another and wonder what is inviting our exploration in 2025.
Registration for Zoom link by email: reneeeliphd [AT] gmail. No need to register if you are a regular participant in these gatherings.
{If you can’t make it on Sunday but have a yearning inquiry beyond the comfort zone, email me.}
There will be no letter on Sunday to give our full attention together to this gathering.
I hope you will join me. It’s free.

Blessings to you Dearest Renee. I love this poem so much and will carry it with me on the tides of this uncertain year. I hope to join you on Sunday and will touch base as soon as I figure out if it will work. xo
Happy 2025 to you! What a beautiful poem to bless this day with. 🤍✨
