Sound and Silence, a Meditation

Dear Friends and Family,

As an interlude to our exploration of silence in this series on silence, solitude, and simplicity, it occurred to me on Friday to offer a short guided meditation.

There is nothing about this recording that is professional-quality audio. It’s me speaking as if you and I are together in the same room. For a few moments, we quiet the mind and bring awareness to the body receiving sound and silence, much as the body receives the breath.

Please enjoy this meditation when you are in a place of ease where you can rest for a few moments, and not while driving.
